I had a bug hit my windshield the other day, which triggered a memory of having to routinely stop every few hours on long car trips when I was a kid so we could clean all of the bugs off the windshield.
I've never had to do that as a driver. I've never had to clean off more than a bug or two off my windshield at any gas stop, either.
It's all rather devastating to think about.
