there is no excuse for governance to be at a standstill. but: while it is, citizens and noncitizen residents should learn what parts of their lives are government fed and they take for granted; especially those subsided in corporate creep. then perhaps everyone will be able to more accurately recognize the difference between a mercenary, a shadow rep, and a government employee.
