I think I have to remember that I've purposely put a gap between myself and current technology, and that this gap clouds my understanding of what people are already used to, and what they might want.

Many would likely find my personal style of using tech to be unnecessarily restrictive, making things less automated for no good reason that they can see.

The average user is probably way ahead of me, in their abilities using the newest tech, despite me being someone who used to love gadgets.
