A big part of what felt like a guided mission for me this year has been to try and bridge the crystal girlies and the tech nerds. These are two communities that I had traditionally not had much respect for, and I've newly learned how uniquely valuable each are.

To the tech nerds: You weren't just paranoid dweebs, I'm sincerely sorry I didn't believe you before. You've built a lot of amazingly cool stuff and it's going to be the path for the solar-punk optimistic future of my dreams.

To the crystal girlies: You weren't just love-and-light themed con artists, and I'm sincerely sorry I was so cynical towards you before. You're showing a path towards deepening our connection with the divine and it's going to be the critical human role in the optimistic future of my dreams.

Now let's get you two crazy kids together, it'll be a heck of a party and the types of ideas we can bring to fruition together are going to save us all!
