My movie adventure today:
I knew I wanted to just sit, relax, drink #Coffee, and watch a movie, but which movie?
Searched the streaming services.... saw Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, lined it up, and went to make my beverage.
Came back and thought "nah... maybe later, I'm more in the mood for scifi".
Got the notion of watching Blade Runner - Directors Cut. Checked: not on streaming.
Remembered I had the DVD. Noticed Final Cut sitting next to it. Grabbed it.
#PCLinuxOS and VLC would not play the movie. Wondered if it was a protection thing, so grabbed Directors Cut and tried it. Same.
In software I also tried MPV and Kaffeine. No joy. #VLC #MPV #Kaffeine
Got fed up, so watched Beetlejuice #Beetlejuice anyway. Actually, a great sequel and funny movie.
Afterwards really wanted to fix my system, so dived into forums etc. Discovered I did not have lib64dvdcss2 installed.
That fixed it.
