Unfortunately nobody around me likes #bitcoin (family, friends, coworkers) they think #btc is too volatile and nobody has money to risk, they prefer to buy dollars as a store of value, put their pesos in a fixed-term deposit (>295% APY), or buy durable goods, as a way to lose less.
There is some stores accepting bitcoin around the city on btcmap.org
We have prepaid debit cards that we can top up with bitcoin (and criptocurrencies), and when you pay in any store it swap to pesos automatically. Also you can buy gift cards with bitcoin like Bitrefill but then also it’s converted to pesos when you pay.
There is NGO called BitcoinAr trying to boost bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. They have some courses on its page and they organize annual events. There is another organizations boosting bitcoin like Mi Primer Bitcoin, they travel around the country with trainings.
I think people who work for other countries mainly use stablecoins like usdt, dai, usdc.
I heard bitcoin adoption is growing, but you don’t hear about bitcoin on media yet.
