This is an electorate that insists healthcare is among its top priorities and yet has elected an ideologically extremist, privatization-loving regime, although by a small margin that would represent a far weaker mandate in a sane (i.e. more proportional) electoral system. Anyone remember Kenney's "healthcare guarantee?" I think at this point it's safe to assume the demagogues can do whatever the F* they want without consequence.
