I read it around the time I first learned that there are other things than scalars and vectors in physics, and that, for instance, electric and magnetic fields are *not* 3-vectors. It was kind of a relevation for me at that time - in particular since nobody taught that at university (at least not in undergraduate classes). Suddenly, a whole new world seemed to open up when I learned about differential forms and other geometrical objects...
