And recognise the pressure described, to go to London to get on in a career. When I worked in the charity sector, this as a thing because the HQs are always there (why?). Weird that this persists when remote working exists.

Even within regions, places like Barnsley, Northern Lincs. etc. have fewer people with qualifications beyond lvl 4 because folk away to study but don't come home. So even within regions, there is brain-drain
