tbh steam deck is pretty much "just pick it up and start playing right away" if you approach it with the mindset that console users approach consoles, which is "ill only play games it lets me play, and only play games it says run okay"

problems only really appear when you stop using the steam deck as a console and start using it as the mini-pc that it is, you know?
