He is publicly a multi-level tyrant. That he is "doing it in public" doesn't make it somehow better. It makes it so we the people have no excuse to pretend his evil is not evil or that "we wanted this" or that it is ok until next "vote". It isn't.
True that stepping on independence of the Fed is not that most obvious evil though.
