March 12, 2026 @ 09:58 Good morning family & friends❣️ I woke up early today for several reasons: one is that I smelled Pete's breakfast cooking and it smelled delicious. Then I heard the discussion on one of his nets, where he learned that a friend had passed away. He was one of the handful of friends that Pete saw and had a relationship with outside of any group, and he - Pete - was pretty shook up. Plus, because I ate carbs yesterday, I was hungry. So here I am. Got my morning updates done, and cheated a bit by doing my photo post last night and setting it to "go live" this morning. I will get Don's guest post up later too, excited that it is chapter 3 of his original fiction piece, The Unsettling. I'm enjoying it a LOT! Other than that, it will be music, birds, grands, and WEATHER!!! A few days ago we were in the 70s. Today a storm will be moving in that will bring from inches to feet of snow/ice into the state...then on Sunday another system moves in that will be even worse (possibly MUCH worse!) than this one! Right now it is calm, sunny, and bright. Until this afternoon, unless the forecast has changed since last night; we will all know after it happens for sure, right?
