Nope, I give up. Helix just isn't there yet for me. It:
- doesn't have working reflow key bindings, which they inherited from Kakoune
- doesn't have support for tabs (a 400 LOC PR has been open for years)
- doesn't have a plugin system (and they're going to design a new language for it, it sounds like?)
- doesn't render diagnostics in a way that I enjoy reading
- doesn't have support for mini map/scroll bars
I think helix is a cool project. But I really can't see myself daily driving it as-is
