just spent the day doing family computer support 😓
luckly a lot over there is linux but there's a win11 laptop. i've not had to interact with it in a while but it is an absolutely predatory environment. i was shocked at the amount of ads and dark patterns in place. i've always known it's bad but i didn't know it was like.. that bad.
also the user is glued to office and i dunno if you can even get office offline anymore? they hate libreoffice with a firey passion.
