I am a woman of the American South. I love deep green overhangs and humid-filled nights. But in 2019 when I went to Mackinac Island, I fell in love with Lake Huron. It spoke to my heart in a way that makes no sense. Every time one of y'all posts a picture of the Great Lakes, I want to go back. So bad, I want to go back.
