on iOS apps can run in background WHILE playing audio. An audio playing app that is not playing audio cannot run continuosly in the background. I can request a background fetch at the discretion of the OS, usually every 15-30 minutes, max 15-30 seconds time. Is it enough for, say, requesting an rss feed like Steven Bell :pci: :pc2red: (npub18a6…pny4) was doing? Or maybe 50-100 different rss feeds?
