Dogs supposedly can't see CRT tv pictures. Cats can. When LEDs were make standard for TVs, dogs could see that.
WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT, WRAITH-SAN!?
Because if you were watching something on your CRT TV back in the day and had an emotional reaction, and your dog got excited with you, he couldn't see what you saw, supposedly. He was happy to just be emotional with you because he loved you.
Your cat was planning on selling you for more food.
