I had to deal with two shocking, significant #accessibility issues at work today... My conclusion is: It's time for all companies to really get serious about accessibility. How? You ask. Well... Let me tell ya'... All new hires who will ever touch any front-end code, design or user-interface elements should be required to have at least 3 years of accessibility experience and/or hold a Web Accessibility Specialist certification. Existing engineers should be required to earn it in 6 months.
