I turned my hearing aids off this morning—peace and quiet, living the dream! But then I got all jumpy... thought my wife snuck up on me. Talk about stress! That fear alone made me slap the hearing aids back on. Big mistake. Now I gotta listen to another day of this BS world. Honestly, why did I even argue with God about being deaf? He was doing me a favor!
