I started feeding the birds shortly before my double mastectomy in February.
I added more food types as the sun turned warm, and was rewarded with the first hummingbird this morning shortly after sunrise!
Life needed to slow down, to heal, and I found a new hobby in the process that brought me immeasurable peace.
