I made a proof of concept based on MAF/PAF that used a domain specific assembler written in TCL, and another one written in Python that I never released. The output was pure assembler.
Thanks for keeping FORTH alive, and reminding people that you CAN put a simple,fast interpreter that only needs a terminal to do useful work :-)
