I was travelling from Cambridge to Brighton yesterday. It was hot. I bought two sugary drinks at Kings Cross. Nothing posh, we used to call it pop. It cost £6 something. It's sugar water and colour.

The price has nothing to do with the strait of Homuz, Ukraine or any other geo-political nonsense. It's rent and corporate greed. They are the same probably. £6 for two bottles of pop? It's half an hour at minimum wage.
