DATUM allows for pooled mining while each miner decides on their block template. That's what I was referring to.
Currently, you can mine for Ocean pool and get paid the proportional share of your hashrate for the pool mined blocks while choosing your own block templates.
This gets interesting if some blocks stop being considered valid. Or if Ocean needs to check every miner's block template to decide if their shares are valid or not.
And Ocean is a company. That does way more than "organizing hashrate" so it's not crazy to ask them for their intentions on this topic.
