As long as live, I have never believed a word from a republican. It maybe because I follow the US politics from across the Atlantic.
But as a political scientist, I have always been critical of politicians, but the right (or extreme right) has never made good on their promises.
It’s just beyond me that so many people think the right will solve the problems of the ordinary (since that has never been the case throughout history).
