I can say I’ve been working on better fedi tooling for years, so a big part of the ‘what the fedi needs’ is disingenuous to me.

I’ve been saying it for awhile and I’ve been attacked, demonized, DDOS’d a couple of times, ignored and vilified in a million different ways.

The question isn’t what does the fedi need.

The question is why doesn’t large swathes of the fedi want to improve.

We know the problem and the solutions. They are just not being acted on.

That’s why I just do my own thing and work to find like minded people.

Because folks have been using the same excuses about the same problems for years while empowering the folks who exacerbate and perpetuate the very solvable issues the fedi has.
