never really looked at it :) the last "new" language i really found interesting was go. the original people did almost everything right. unfortunately the people now responsible are much lesser than their predecessors. gcc go still not lifted to recent specs while having two independent implementations is exactly what you want. it's a shame.

anyways, all languages i deem interesting and practical are all decades old by now. usually their crowd is much nicer as well.
