The best way to describe them in sort of like Zucchini? Blank canvas. Very subtle flavour. Baked, in the air fryer, (30 minutes at 200, #choko cut into quarters on the longitudinal axis) makes them taste like baked pumpkin, I think.
Previous generations boiled them and smothered them in white sauce. I occasionally stem them and just add butter, but the air fryer roast is delicious. Or throwing them into curries or stir fries.
