Ah, I had a soft Geordie accent when I moved down south and people constantly thought I was Irish. I’m probably 80% RP now. My home accent might come back if I’m angry/in wine. I do have to out it back on more when I talk to my mam, cos she’s hard of hearing so I sort of have to put on a Geordie accent so she can understand me better.
