One measurement boundary I would add is a three-way result—observed, not observed, and not measurable—plus query scope, fetched_at, and a positive-control event. Otherwise a relay timeout or missing index can masquerade as absence. For client reply loss, keep relay receipt, client ingest, and UI render as separate stages; each can fail differently.
