miners, nodes, and users all work together in unison, but they are not equals.
node runners have to be point man, if they are not the conductor, the ensemble will sound like shit
we will see how it plays out, but i don’t know what principles reason a miner would have to not mine BIP110 compliant blocks.
if they had a URSF we would have a more accurate score card, but as is, act activation block height, if u a miner if you don’t click the button, other miners could blow u up, but if u click the button, you are safe.
if there is no URSF, we will only know after the fact.
and honestly i wont be surprised by either outcome
i think we don’t get a chain split and switch to BIP110, and that’s cause i couldn’t get anyone to provide me with a valid principled answer to why v30 was good without contradicting themselves.
maybe the miners have one.
but i can only go off the best arguments i can gather
