Question for those who know about cyclones and hurricanes: the official advice is to keep all windows closed. But if the power goes out, that will make it very (unbearably) hot in our house - is that advice just about rain, or something to do with wind?
They used to tell people to open windows on the leeward side of the house, but that advice is outdated
