I can't recommend this book and I think it is shameful and sinful for a woman to minister to men broadly like this.
Men need to step up and learn to be honest, even saying No, to the women in their lives instead of endlessly sponsoring their career pursuits.

For books on masculinity, I would start with Jerr's The Wall Speaks. It will show you your inner bitch, embarrass you, expose you, and absolutely obliterate the inner boy within.
That is the opposite of what any book written by a woman will do; they will seek to nurture, preserve, and perpetuate the inner boy.
It used to a father's job to help his son kill the bitch within and become a man. Now you have to do it yourself.
Jerr provides a good first pass. He'll help you shed the boss babe authority programming, then learn your birthright and responsibility to lead your house, be a man, and be paid in loyalty, respect, sex, and peace.
