Proton is based in Switzerland, a socialist country, which hosts and is friendly to all the ultra evil institutions. (The UN, WEF, WHO, etc.) Using their services makes it legally easier for 3 letters to grab your data, plus they hand over people's data all the time. Proton is not as secure as everyone thinks.
I'll keep my private data services in the USA, self-hostrd by me, thank you.
