Say "fresh cheese". Good. Now you can pronounce a core phoneme of the Slavic languages, [szcz] or [ść] in Polish. And you're halfway to pronouncing the Polish name for the city the Germans call Stettin: Szczecin. The second syllable is just like English "chin". Szcze-chin. Emphasise the penultimate syllable.
Easy. Polish orthography is much more regular than the English one.
