Hanwha Group, a prominent South Korean conglomerate, has announced the liquidation of two of its subsidiaries focused on blockchain technology. According to a report by Bloomingbit, Enterprise Blockchain Co., Ltd. in Korea and its U.S. counterpart, Enterprise Blockchain Inc., will be dissolved in the first half of 2026. These entities will subsequently be removed from Hanwha Group's consolidated financial statements. As of the end of June, Hanwha Group's consolidated financial statements accounted for 859 subsidiaries, with 848 of these being privately held companies.
