I've been running my own for a while now. Only have problems once in a while. Recently, had problem with wallets on my LAN being unable to access it. All due to rubbish router that periodically changes the assigned IP address ... have to update the Bitcoin Core options file to bind to the correct IP address. Can be tricky. Always good to know help is around.
