oh thanks! I feel like this is a rant long brewed, ever since I stumbled out of Jackson's *Fellowship of the Ring* thinking "what the fuck was that"? I went in hopeful and came out shattered, which is silly and overdramatic I suppose but it was my birthday too (20 Dec)
