Not thrilled by the metaphor, but it’s better than “stochastic parrot.”
I think that it’s important to emphasize to people that the “personalities” of LLMs are not there to help *users* but rather the *vendors*: they’re a “dark pattern” similar in kind to “Do you want to do this thing? YES / Not now” and ought to be considered just as insulting/infuriating.
