are you doing regular EQ on these new high tech FIR filter EQing that helps with timing distortions from DSP? I haven’t messed with them but they are gaining in popularity. My headphone company has a plugin for my music software that does this but there is some FOSS code that lets you do it custom with a calibration mic. I have to be honest I don’t fully understand it but people I trust care about it.
