So I had a very busy day Thursday, running around to various appointments, masked in spite of the humidity, and meeting in places that were well ventilated &/or in 2 cases, had HEPA filters running.

That night I had a sneezy, runny nose, which I put down to hayfever. (Had received warnings of thunderstorm asthma.) Yesterday I was a little better, but today I crashed. I’m guessing that I was battling a bug, and my busy day on Thursday was the last straw for my immune system. Today I’ve felt pretty awful & spent most of the day in bed, with one or other cat supervising or on the couch in the study outside of my room. Not horribly ill, but a miserable respiratory infection nonetheless.

I simply can’t isolate at home all of the time (except when sick of course!). My mental health wouldn’t hold. So I guess I have to try and find and plug the gaps in my vigilance. How nice it would be if everyone else was doing more to reduce the transmission of respiratory infections.
