It used to be said not that many decades ago that modern science was counter intuitive, "different than everyday life" (as Ouspensky put it) - more recently in the 21st C"Speculative" set of philosophies argued for the hard realism of accepting science literally... all apart from OO are epistemological realists... there are some bizarre consequences if you accept scientific realism. #philosophy
