The standards body would really you just call it USB 5 Gbps, 10 Gbps, 20 Gbps. The 3.0/3.1/3.2 part comes from the spec revision; the respective implementation of the existing speeds have not changed between revisions, so listing the revision on hardware is useless. This confusion comes entirely from the hardware manufacturers.
