In my 30 years in the mining sector I have never seen such a remarkable setup for gold, copper and other metals.

When it comes to gold we have a banking crisis, the Fed on an insane path of interest rate increases, inflation, currency wars and decades of under investment to find and build new mines.

Many central bankers are putting together alternatives to the USD as the currency for international trade and are loading up on gold.

The Fed caused the inflation problem and banking crisis due to 14 years of near zero interest rates after the 2008 economic collapse and then jacking them up at an insane pace. They have to stop raising rates and because they so dramatically over did it on the hikes will have to lower them soon after they stop raising.

With copper we have car makers and consumers moving toward EVs at a relentless pace, this will need a lot of copper. Yet copper has also gone through decades of under investment to explore and develop new mines. Which has caused the supply chain to be very weak and this is a long term problem.

Meanwhile gold and copper stocks as well as stocks in other metals are trading at record low valuations.

Gold is in a bull market that started in November/2022 and is likely going to last a decade or longer.

It won't be long now and generalist investors will see the light that they can protect their money in gold and silver. This will open their eyes to the tremendous growth opportunities in gold and other metals stocks.

For way too long tech stocks have received way too much money. Often to create new social media apps to share cat videos and pictures. We certainly don't need more social media apps.

To make the financial world and consumer world run we need a lot more mines to provide the metals needed in our modern world. As @robert_ivanhoe says, we are in the revenge of the miners era.
