what I'm getting at is if the ketchup is kept in the fridge normally and then put on your hot dog, you're not gonna notice any temperature difference that you think you will by the time you start eating it, and since keeping it in the fridge is better for taste and quality, you're not doing any favours to yourself keeping it on the counter
