I'm working on re-adding some missing features since refactoring my code. It should be done today.
regarding the spam problem, I'm thinking about implementing a filter like "screening" but more aggressive and runs in the background, it would automatically reject all senders that don't pass the test.
by the way, I'm wondering if you use the relay wss://auth.nostr1.com? Somehow I've lost all messages on this relay too (it looks like the gift wrap events have been deleted?). My personal relay and wss://nip17.com still have the messages.
