Okay, so the EU commission is trying to forbid encryption apps/platforms again. Their Chat Control proposal has faced a lot of obstacles. So now they try it with a new proposal.
They want to call it the Protect EU Plan. I think that is a bad name.
The biggest win for activists with Chat Control was that the nickname stuck.
