what others simply ignore.
Other eyes don’t see until it’s too late.
Care isn’t always taught,
and sometimes, what’s ignored drifts away on its own.

And when you finally notice,
you realize the love you’ve been thinking of
is the one you wished you had,
but it’s in different hands.
And then your heart splits in two.
