Yup, it's handy information. Tesla don't really want anyone to know how to do diagnostics on their kit, be it cars or batteries.

We originally had a Gateway1 with our first Pw2. It had a Neurio brand power meter in it, but it was made specifically for the Tesla Gateway1. Tesla did not stock Neurios for spares. Neurio ceased production of the special meter so Tesla could not buy any more. When our Neurio quit, the Gateway1 became unrepairable. Tesla proposed 6 months to repair.
