• C
• Smalltalk
• Standard ML
These are the pillar languages in PP, OO, and FP paradigms and, collectively, they cover a broad spectrum of abstract thought in #software. It is no exaggeration to say that every modern language currently in popular use is either a rehash or a remix thereof. Moreover, these are arguably the simplest languages in their respective paradigms. And through them, the programmer can master these three foundational paradigms, thereby gaining the ability to think effectively and efficiently about any problem from diverse perspectives.
