I spent some years working in a mostly-male environment and while there were a lot of things I liked about it, the amount of emotional labor that male colleagues expected from me was exhausting
(also, being expected to make sympathetic noises about how some guy "couldn't find a woman I have anything in common with" when I was standing RIGHT THERE became pretty ridiculous after a while...either ask me if I'm busy on Saturday or stfu, buddy)
